One of these? If so, how, where and why? Are they just cute but deadly? Shot shells for snakes and other critters? I think about other types of guns one could buy for that price (although the 'normal' .22 LR sells for $240) but still it's intriguing. Maybe I should just take that money and buy ten used RGs. northamericanarms.com/shop/firearms/naa-22mc-tw/

I would. They make decent snake guns with rat shot loaded........some may consider the normal carry 45 a bit much for the slithery critters.

I would think that the NAA mini revolver would serve very well for that.
For what its worth, I recently discovered my CZ-75 Canik clones (Tristar C-100, T-100 and C-120) cycle CCI 9mm #12 cycle shot shells perfectly. This fact changed my daily carry habits up here at the new place.

Well heck....might as well owe up....it's been 30+ years....I had one for a few years that carried offshore fishing...perfect for dispatching large fish that are more than you want to bring on board a small boat...carried it in the back pocket of my short pants...well....I have two scars on my butt cheek....entrance and exit wounds....and when your 30 or more miles out you find out who your friends are....
And recently an old acquaintance of mine dang near killed himself with one...front pocket on his tractor...hit that artery on inside of his leg...he nearly bled out before they could get him to the hospital...
No pocket carry for me anymore....was a painful lesson learned..
Ok carry on..

the one I have has a heave duty safety on the trigger finger side that won't let the hammer reach the firing pin
plus the trigger pull is about 12#
I have carried it in a coat pocket but never in a jeans pocket

I have picked them up and looked at them and considered buying , but I just keep using my .22 derringer with shot shells seems to get the job done

Now if you had a nifty RG like Thywar you wouldn't need any shot shells
just point that RG anywhere but at the snake and the lead spray will kill and critter on both sides and sometimes even to the front and back at the same time

I never carried one of these but, looks like a good choice for the vest pocket on poker night. In an up close scuffle it may serve a real purpose getting out from under.

Go to that web site and look at the ''pug'', and some of the other longer barrels. Their cowboy versions and even target competition models. Lets go shopping. LoL

I carried one as a cop. Sure beats harsh language in a fight. I never carried one of these but, looks like a good choice for the vest pocket on poker night. In an up close scuffle it may serve a real purpose getting out from under.
