I suspect you will love it. I have an Eclipse and a Pro carry 2, both in 45. The Eclipse I have been shooting for 14 years now with out a hitch. It was my birthday gift to myself on my 50th. Love em.

Got my first Kimber in the 90's, nothing really wrong about them, just not my "go to"

maybe I should give the newer ones a try out, we have a gun range here where you can shoot/try out anything they have in stock, just never go there much because we have a range in the back yard. I like the look and feel of them.
