Found this at the Pawn shop. Let it set for a week hoping someone else would snatch it. End of the week I had to buy it. Someone had butchered the Recoil spring assembly. Broke the detent off that holds the lock pin trying to disassemble it seemingly. Buggered up the lock pin a bit in the process. Ordered the recoil spring assembly and took the dremel to the lock pin. Gooder'n new now May order another lock pin. Used a bluing pencil on the dremeled part and a drop of Rem Oil but will still worry about rusting. Attachments:

Thanks, Ran about 40 rounds through her and not a hiccup. Held a tight pattern too. I think she's a keeper. She was just a bit dirty but nothing some Hoppes 9 didn't cure. One mag looked like it'd never been loaded.

I found a stainless MK III's for $379 with slab sided barrel, target sights NIB but that is w/o the scope. Was at ACE HDWE. Didn't buy that one . . . yet.

Well then his price is too high.. I believe this was the standard model and wasn't stainless and I don't think the scope was that impressive. Thanks for the feedback.

If the price is negotiable, try bumping it down to $350 or so as the final price if you really want the gun. Closer to $300 would be even better. Just MHO. Update: The last Ruger pistol I bought was a Mk III 22/45, non-stainless, and with two different sets of sights more than a year ago. I don't remember having to pay more than $349 for it (probably less all things considered since this is off the top of my memory), and that's throwing in the typical "everything is more expensive in CT."

Gun prices shouldn't be figured on a collection of added parts on top of the price of the gun.
I just tell them to take all that stuff off,.... then give me a price......most times they are looking to get full price on a bunch of extra stuff you might not want or need....If they throw it in, fine....but I won't make a deal on anything that includes extras.
