Sometimes it feels like the eye surgeon and the retinal surgeon are at ODDS
with me in the middle being pulled at both ends in different directions

As long as when it's over you don't have a middle eye. Hope all turns out good in the final results

Well to update the bubble they put in my eye is smaller every week with expectation it will be gone by the time I have my eye surgery on the 26, about 3 weeks.
The little bleeders I get seem to all be collecting in the bubble. When it was bigger it was pale green, now its solid black and about the size of the end of my little finger. The rest of the eye around it is like looking through one of those shower blocks that let in light but you can't make out any shapes.
It didn't bother me so much when it was pale and bigger. Now I keep trying to focus on the moving black ball. Gives me a headache.
I am expected to see again by the middle of June, so we will see what happens.

After my injection on Wednesday I too had a little black ball. I kept thinking something was running around on the floor and I kept trying to track it. Made me crazy(ier). Fortunately it was gone the next morning.
Hope things keep improving for you. You e had more than your share of adapting.

Well I haven't seen little black balls but everyone appears to have gone on a diet, as in very thin looking bodies. LoL!
Woodyz your the best and hopefully this is the last time drs. have to be doing surgery on your eyes or anything else for that matter. You sir deserve a break and need some good times R&R with your family.

black ball/bubble is smaller every day, almost all absorbed
still like trying to see through a bottle of water
but I'm sure he will fix that in about 10 days

Eye surgery tomorrow at 8 AM
Not looking forward to the pain, but should just be a few days
not seeing won't be so different, I haven't been able to see out of my left eye since new years.
we will see how it goes
if I am not on here a few days it will be because I am sleeping on pain meds

eye surgery did not go as planned, a complication will determine degree of site regained.
I'LL share more soon. Dr made a tear in the lens cover and cover will not hold lens in position.
