My eye is still a problem after 6 months
so I gave up on staying away from shooting due to fears of doing damage to the eye
for years on the USMC pistol team and after I shot with both eyes open
when my right eye went out, recovery time was 5 months and I learned to shoot with just my left eye, point of impact moves right not left like you would think
When I could use my right again I tried to go back to both eyes, but the difference in them without glasses was too much and I ended up shooting right eye dominate
today I shot for the first time in quite a while and it showed
1 I was out of practice
2 I found myself flinching at the shot, something I haven't done in decades
But after I shot awhile I stopped
still didn't much like my results, but it is what it is

Don't give up. Victories are victories regardless of how big or small they are. I can't begin to describe how I felt when I tried doing some physical things after my car accident, but the one thing that stuck was to never give up on myself.
