Tomorrow I go to have some areas where testing was done removed.
And to have the "specialist" look me over in detail. Sounds like a lovely time.
I will let them take spots off and do their tests, as long as the testing stays non-invasive, but I am not doing any kind of chemo or other therapy or treatments. They can just forget about that crap.
We will see, I'll let you know.

Taking spots off isn’t invasive? I’d tell them that they could take off anything they wanted as long as I’m sound asleep. For anything else, it had better feel no worse than having a cottonball gently applied to my skin.
Yes I know I’m a total wuss.
Prayin’ for ya, Woodyz!

Good luck to you. I am going in Sept 14th to my dermatologist to likely get some spots removed. The only one of concern is the bump that grew back where they had to remove the cancer last time. 2x as they missed the required margin because they didn't believe me that I thought it was cancer (it was). So not looking forward to that. On the other hand, I always had a very wrinkled brow and the 2nd surgery made me look like a 20 yr old (only on the brow) so some good came of it.....

I do regular skin cancer screening. The removal of spots is what it is - a local anesthesia, a snip and a stitch. Cover with band aid. It is best to know so that you can make informed decisions.

if they catch it in time it's an easy fix. I hope all turns out well. And it reminds me I'm do for a look over.

8 "spots" removed like you would do punch through leather and remove a "plug"
plugs to be sent off and tested.
More blood testing done to determine if lymph nodes or bones or whatever else is included. Don't know when those will be back. Go back in a month if no calls to come in sooner. They won't get to do any plug taking from anywhere but my skin so they can get over that.
They figure my prostrate is a problem but I'm not even going to allow them to sample it, much less remove it, so that is that.
Three of the places they took samples from were spots they had "removed" cells from before, that came back. If they are just going to come back then they were not gone in the first place and they should just leave them alone.
So I have a few more pills to take and some cream to rub in and that's about that.

You've come too damn far with all your other medical problems to worry about showing your ass or anything else for that matter to anyone in the medical profession. Do you honestly think I like spreading my legs open for a male doctor to give me a pap smear. Hell with a capital N, NO but I do it just the same ! I'd much rather go to the dentist than a gynecologist. Now I'll get off my soapbox and wish you the best for your exam and the treatment of any skin cancer spots requiring treatment.
