Oh I am so very sorry for what you are going through. Have you called your family to let them know you need prayers and help? If it were me, I would want you to call.
Please know you are in my prayers everyday. SG

Sorry to hear things are going so slowly for you. Maybe you can get some help from the church folks. Then I’d go stand in the desk of about six diffrrent people at your doctors and the hospital. They do not seem to have your best interests at the moment. Living in Oklahoma I have no idea about how things work up there but I know how hospitals and doctors are supposed to work and what you describe ain’t it. Time to be proactive and make them step up. But sometimes I can just be an azzhat about things so....there’s that.

Thywar, you are 100% right. blacksmith, Raise cane with your doctors. Call the clinic or hospital administrators and just tell them the ridiculous timeline you have been forced into. Threaten to report this insanity to the AMA and state health department so they investigate your situation. It looks like total stupidity to me but I am not medical. Cancer- any kind-gets worse with delay- we all know this and so do your doctors!

Ok. So now two of the smartest people (solar and geek) have determined you need to do something. They need to manage your pain better they need to do surgery now not a month from now unless there is an underlying health reason why they can’t. More importantly the biggest thing you have to do/be is responsible for your treatment. Those docs are human. Probably arrogant humans but they screw up just like regular folk. So you go there and you DEMAND answers and you become proactive about the type of cancer, the treatment available and the docs/hospital where you’re treated. Or just remember to post before you go to hospice.
