Got the tractor out yesterday and started cutting the right of way on the road on my property. Ran over a road alligator in the high grass with the mower which stuck solid. Spent the afternoon pulling the mower from under the tractor to remove the gator. While it was out blade sharpening, lube and probably replace the gear box seals. Tremendous amount of fun Think I'll scrap the belly mower and get a 3 point hitch finish mower. That belly mower is a booger to service.

Either way I’m envious of the equipment.

You might want to explain what a road alligator is for our northern brethren. LOL

Isn't that a strip of tread thrown off a semi tire? That's what I've always heard, but then I'm not a northerner, either.
