the onions and tatars! I have two hundred 1015 onions sets going strong... I planted 5 pounds irish potatoes two weeks ago and they are poking up out of the ground all over the place! I also planted broccoli and cauliflower 4 weeks ago and it is already starting heads on the broccoli! (did you know you can eat the greens off these plants?)
I planted crook neck yellow squash and zucchini (six each) today as well! I like to eat the male flowers off these better then the fruit lol.
I put in 18 tomato plants today - hopefully in about two months I will be eating those! Built the Boss lady 4 small herb planters to hang on the back fence from some scrap cedar dog eared fence pickets today also... I put some thyme and oregano in two of them... I will pick up some Pansies to put in the other two to put some color out there... (they are also eatable!)
Planted a couple of basil plants as well in with the 3 large tubs of spinach we should be able to start harvesting in a couple weeks.
We planted 4 thorn less blackberry vines last year and they look like they are going to make a good crop this year if I can keep the dang deer off them... The deer REALLY like the young leaves...
I put in a new fig tree this year - it is looking good so far! Already leaving out...
The two year old pear tree is already leaved out and blooming. I will have to pull the fruit since it is still to small to bear the weight...
The black walnut we germinated last year is already leaving out - I might put it in the ground next year...
This is the apple trees last chance - if they dont make this year I will take them out in plant a couple of pecan trees in their place. Yea , I know they need so many freeze hours for apples to fruit and these where "rated" for this area...
I will get the tiller out in the am and turn the last section of the garden one more time. I have 6 packs of Jalapeno, Cheyenne, and sweet Banana peppers to plant along with a few truly hot ones ... Got two Scorpions and a Carolina Reaper - Looking for a couple of Scotch Bonnets as well (my personal favorite)
I have some vine bean seed I have to build a trellis for - Got a hog panel I will use to keep it simple...
Hmm That leaves the peppermint I am going to put in an old syrup bucket..
All in all A good day hoeing!

Awesome! It'll be Middle of April or first of May before I can do much in my zone. Did start some seeds today in the small green house.

I caught a small 4'x 6' greenhouse on sale the other day and bought it... I was planning to build the small deck for it to go on today. Kinda got side tracked with with other projects... I will have it up before next year though and will be able to start my own seeds a lot easier! Will probably winter a few plants over as well... I had Cheyenne pepper grow for almost three years once ... Looked like small a tree..

I had Cheyenne pepper grow for almost three years once ... Looked like small a tree.. I have a 6x8 Harbor Freight that's storage and seed starting. I over wintered Collards, Kale (2 varieties), Broccoli, Spinach, Carrots in my 10x20. The collards and kale looked like mini palm trees because of the continuous harvesting. We had fresh greens all winter long. I just cleaned them out yesterday as some were beginning to bolt. I could have had a winter garden but I covered my little 30x40 garden with a silage tarp to help with weed mitigation for my spring/summer crops. So . . I ended up with about 40 5 gal buckets of the above plants. Worked great. YouTube star Leon on "Gardening with Leon" is an old guy who has years of experience with container gardening in High Tunnel houses in Colorado. He was very helpful to me as this was my first experience (successful) with container gardening. Leon is a gardening guru!!
