A few weeks ago I got a new holster for my Glock. The company that made this holster also made the famous auto-loading holsters for the Makarov pistol line, and they took their third model and made it compatible for the Glock 17.
There are two ways to draw the Glock once it's strapped in.
1) Undo the strap and pull it out like you would with any conventional holster.
2) Push down on the pistol grip, then pull it out. As you push down the strap automatically becomes undone. Once you've pushed down all the way and start pulling the Glock out of the holster the pistol has been put into Condition One (as in there's a round in the chamber). If the Glock was already loaded when you do this: the first round will exit the pistol and holster without creating a blockage and prevent the pistol from being drawn.
The holster is two main parts with a spring to prevent the two parts from separating. The trigger and trigger guard are also completely enclosed by the holster as well so you can't negligently discharge the Glock while it's in the holster. It's obviously not meant to use as a concealed carry holster, but it has its place.
