If you have ever heard these you won't forget the sound.

These came out the year I went through survival training in N.C. and I lived off of the nymphs for about 10 days. They were everywhere just under the ground near the roots. I can't say I enjoyed eating them, but I can say I survived.

great fish bait too, nymphs or adults, if they come out where you are just sack a bunch up and keep in your freezer until you want to use/eat. I am going to catch and freeze all I can, they are the best fish bait I have ever used, catfish and bass, really like them.

They only come out here about every 7 years, but the news says 17 so this may be a bigger hatch.
