"Showing your papers" was something many of my relatives (that I never met) were required to do. I will not be complying.
My Dad and my Grandfather both did. Both of them often said that the US was clearly headed that way. In my teens, I laughed that off as paranoid.
This country is rapidly spinning out of control while much of the population cheers. I hate to admit it, but we have reached the point where only a major (and ugly) reset can save our Republic.

So I expect I have more antibodies than vaccinated folks because I had it. I don’t know that’s fact but they shouldn’t discount those of us that had. And those pushing for having to show a vax card or ‘passport’ can KMA. I’m not now nor ever required to divulge my medical history. I’m all for those that HAVE to wear a mask for protection because of other concerns. Just keep your distance and don’t tell me your opinion on my health. What is it women killing their baby say? ‘My Body, My Choice?’
It would appear that more than half (perhaps much more) of our population has the antibodies now counting exposure/recovery from the virus and the VAX. And yes, your immunity is far better than the VAX, no question about it.
If this virus was even close to the lethality that we were told, it would have killed millions of us long before we started talking about masks. The first wave swept through the country in the September to December of 2019, but the Chinese maintained silence.
Please note that I am not saying that it cannot kill, because it does. So does the flu and whole host of other things.

I had a sinus infection over Christmas, one of many over the course of my life. Airborne caught the germ, then Mirkwood-Wanderer, and it was no big deal. In January, Airborne & I were doing the food shopping when he suddenly felt dizzy and, long story short, was diagnosed with vertigo. At the checkup, our doc asked if we'd had any symptoms of anything lately, so I mentioned the sinus infection. Her own daughter had experienced something similarly mild and subsequently tested positive for covid. We were tested as well... positive. We wore masks as per the local store requirements and since I'm allergic to topical alcohol, I wore gloves so as to avoid the sanitizer as much as possible. We started driving to another town for our haircuts since the local place insisted upon using sanitizer that was so heavily scented that I could hardly stand walking through their door. The day we decided to go elsewhere was the day some bozo told me to close the door even though she knew full well that ventilation never hurt anyone.
Vaccinations were offered by age group and by profession and we've both had both shots (Moderna); Airborne had no side effects beyond a sore arm, but I ran a fever, felt very achy, and was fatigued to the point that I didn't dare to drive for 4 days after each shot. Over the past year+, I've played many funerals where family members watched their loved ones struggle to breathe. Death certificates are meaningless because it always boils down to the brain receiving insufficient oxygen to function; it is the causes of that insufficiency that are many and varied.
