www.lehmans.com/product/canned-bacon-9-oz-can#I had this once before, but I wanted to try it again. There was 50 pieces in the can. Pre-cooked, but I wanted to warm them so I put 20 on a cookie sheet and put them in the oven at 110 for 7 minutes. They were great, put 4 pieces in a single slice of oat bread and ate them up. I put the other 30 pieces in a "seal-a-meal" bag and put them into the freezer. They won't last as long as in the can, but I figure to eat them in a week or less anyway. Expensive compared to what we get at the local butcher 5# for $22.00, but in the can it will be better for long term or when we can't get out. Good enough I ordered a case 12 cans/600 slices.

I think my Wife's reaction to my canned bacon as funny, she liked it alright, but after I ordered a case for stocking she looked through the deep freeze and couldn't find any bacon, so she bought some from the butcher shop and put some in the oven this morning then made me some eggs to go with it and insisted it was much better.
I agree. that wasn't the point, but she wanted to prove it was better tasting. I always thought so, but I don't get bacon and eggs near as much as I want, I would eat it or sausage/ham and eggs every day if I could, but she thinks it isn't good for me. She wants me to eat oatmeal or cream of wheat, or cereal.
