Not exactly surprising news for those who've followed such events for years now. Apparently the assailants came in on paragliders and basically had the equivalent to shooting fish in a barrel at a music festival, and kidnapped scores of women and children in addition to whom they've killed.

As others have posted on social media and YouTube this speaks volumes to one of the reasons why we have the 2nd Amendment and applicable sections in state constitutions concerning the right to bear arms. They have the Iron Curtain but that clearly wasn't designed for assailants coming in using paragliders. It also gave their government a wake up call concerning its citizens being able to shoot back (or the lack thereof).

It's the Iron Dome, not curtain. One of the reasons for the failures (there were many successes) of it is that it was overwhelmed with over 5,000 rockets.
