Cut and collected some willow branches yesterday.Striped of the bark and made some cordage. It works ok and is easy enough to do the two strand twist, problem is. Compared to nettle cordage it's weak and will not hold up like nettle does. Something you may like to know if your interested in making cordage. I will be trying other plants and tree roots, i will be letting you all know what is best. So far it's nettle

Pine rootlets work pretty well, OT. Thanks tj , i tried some root bark the other day. I have no idea what type tree it was but it worked real good.
