Here you go people all you need is a clam shell, one or two rocks, and tree fungus for a wick. First fill the clam shell with oil next cut off a piece of wick and lay in the oil to soak. Once it has soaked up some oil stand the wick up supported by the stones and light . Fill the clam shell when needed......thanks for watching

That looked like it put out quite a lot of light! Yes it did and a teaspoon of oil lasted longer then I wanted it to so I snuffed it out. Whats nice is you can use pine sap so all can be gathered from the field...i like that

Thanks...just think if you had no light to brake the darkness. You can't have a camp fire all the time, fire wood may be in short supply. This oil lamp with a reflector would give much needed light, thanks for the reply

They make great reflectors

You're definitely on a roll, great job! Trying to cover the most important skills for now. Having the ability to cut the darkness without making a campfire....great asset
