Here you go people all you need is a clam shell,one or two rocks, and tree fungus for a wick. First fill the clam shell with oil next cut off a piece of wick and lay in the oil to soak. Once it has soaked up some oil stand the wick up supported by the stones and light . Fill the clam shell when needed......thanks for watching  |

That looked like it put out quite a lot of light! Yes it did and a teaspoon of oil lasted longer then I wanted it to so I snuffed it out. Whats nice is you can use pine sap so all can be gathered from the field...i like that |

Thanks...just think if you had no light to brake the darkness.You can't have a camp fire all the time, fire wood may be in short supply. This oil lamp with a reflector would give much needed light,thanks for the reply |

They make great reflectors  |
