Walked in the Pawn Shop and Bubba just got her in and was tagging her. "What'cha got?" I sayez. I knew what it was. Looked it over and took her home Disassembled her: Lordy, she was nasty. Got about a bottle and half of oil out of her . . . uhh! more or less She went through her trials and not a hiccup. (40 rounds). Accuracy more than acceptable. Those pachmayr grips feel might nice! Here she is ready for her "field trials."

No antidotes up your way huh Geron? That Pawnese disease is dangerous. It hits you when you least expect it and there's nothing you can do but pay the man. Then you have to take your medicine home and clean it. Whatever is this world coming to when a man can't walk into a pawn shop without them taking his money.. and him knowing it all along too. We'll pray for ya.. guess I better go over to the prayer meeting thread and ask for some prayers and healing to come your way.. hang tough there Geron and we'll help you through it.

That is really a nice one Geron. Did the grips and holster come with it? I think I will have to make a few like that style for rugers and high standards that could use some clothes. I am on the trail of a stainless Ruger made for a short while during the late 80's to early 90's. They had a medium heavy barrel. Between the bull and standard pencil. 4" and 6", I had a couple off and on, then they stopped making them in normal Ruger fashion. Now if one ever comes along they are way too high. Oh well that's the fun of the hunt sometimes. Enjoy your new one, and good luck finding a treatment for Mark II itis.
