Experimenting with different fungus from trees. I'm drying it all and the small white flakes i will char to see if that works. Plus learning new video tricks....thanks for watching

I have a book on fungus just doesn't cover it all. So I will be looking on the net. Here is a great web site on fungus identification,once you get there click on tools then click on fungus finder. A lot of information but still adding more www.austintreeexperts.com/index.cfm

Thanks, OT! Good stuff. How dry was the sample you used for tinder? What I used today is called Trametes Versicolor. I tried them dry but no luck,so i charred then like you would char cloth. Still no luck, here is a pic of what I was working on today
