Anyone purchased their Guide Gear merchandise? I thought I might place an order but wondered if anyone has good or negative experiences? I'm sure someone else would like to know as well.
I know they don't have H&K stuff which kind of ticks me off, but hey, can't be all things to all people.

I've bought "Guide Gear" before. Typically, it's got a good price point. Sometimes ya get what ya pay for. Sometimes, it's one heck of a good deal. Generally, it's good quality (especially for the price), but I wouldn't call it "great" quality.

I would rate the average quality of their products as poor. I've had much better luck with Wal-Mart on-line. Buyer beware.

DH orders from the a lot. Some of the cheap stuff is truly cheap. Some of it's a decent deal. Like any online retailer it helps to know the price of items on several sites or in your local mil-surp store before you order.

I will buy "use once and discard things" from them. Like pocket rain ponchos, and such, but anything other than disposables I go else where.

I have noticed that the prices they "compare" to are greatly inflated, which made me wonder about their quality. If you're willing to try to get away with that, knowing full well that anyone using a computer to get to their site is probably savvy enough to do their own comparison shopping....well......maybe they are just optimists!!
I appreciate the feedback and know others will as well. Anyone who has had luck with a particular product, that's helpful also ?!?!

Have never used their guide gear brand. Have had good luck with the Mil Surplus, but make sure its REAL mil surplus and NOT" just like" mil surplus or Military style. Will say there 9 LED angle head flash lights are trash. CHEAP TRASH>

I bought a shotgun scabbard that came with a machete sheathed on the outside of it. It's pretty decent. Holds the shotgun just right and the machete wasn't bad quality either.
edit: Well that was a pretty innocuous post for my 1000th post.. lol..

If yer buyin the cheapest stuff, that be what yer gonna get. I thin there compare to prices be the MSR price whinch nobody sells stuff fer.
I've bought quite a bit a stuff from em, had perty good luck with it.
Bought the front rack fer the ATV from em. After my little adventure I'd say it held up real well. The rear rack on my ATV I bought local cause Guide was outa them. Come ta find out was built by the same company an I paid more local then what they was a sellin it fer.
Like anyplace else, ya get what ya pay fer. I thin they generally god decent stuff. Always pays ta shop round though.
