Suggestion - User Groups

CCM, Admins:

Can we get some sort of user group section set up that is specific to a login id? I.E. I am in the midwest, so when I log in I see all the normal forum areas and also see an area for all the midwest people to congregate? Someone in California would see all the normal threads and then see a West Coast specific section appear.

Do we already have something like that?

Are you wondering if something in the software could ID you by your IP address?
If so I don't know if that's possible.

You could always start a regional group and just check in there from time to time. But you would have to pull up that thread yourself if the activity level was low so that it didn't show up in the new threads section.

Not so much by IP but by board user ID and profile. True, I could just start a nw thread.
