Very nice Crash, Love the videos FYI for those that may not be aware be very careful with Gorilla glue and it's ilk around pets. It taste great to them but it will kill them dead because they can not digest it.

Thanks Crash. Very labor and detail intensive. I understand now why custom knives are priced the way they are.

This is so interesting. Cratsman skills, pride in your work and the willingness to teach and share. Gotta love it. Thanks PS I'm sitting here looking at my two Crashblades

How long does all that take?

How long does all that take? This one took a lot longer because of the filming, but for making a knife this way it generally takes me about 20 hours or so - sometimes a bit longer. A few of the steps like the heat treat process, making handles and attaching the handles have long periods of "inactivity" before moving on to the next step. Usually I am working on another one during those times. - which is why I generally have a few laying around at various stages of completion.

Crash, when you make a knife, have you ever come up with an idea, or a particular way of making a knife that's different that makes you want to spend the whole day making it? I'm not sure I'm stating this in the right way but sometimes I'll come up with an idea that I can't wait to get started doing it and finding the time to do it.

Since it's a hobby - I can often be found in the workshop after dinner, late into the evening. As long as it's fun, and somewhat calming - I'll keep at it.

I've really enjoyed following along. As a proud owner of a Crashblade, I'm even more impressed with my knife after watching what all is involved in making one.
Thanks for sharing, and keep up the great work!
