How come on some threads when I hit reply, there is an attachment line where you can browse to attach pics, but other threads there isn't that line? It's like it is missing. I tryed replying to the "thrift store finds" thread and the attachment line was there (but dumb me didn't have the pics on the computer!) when I came back to post, the attachment line was gone and now can't post them. But the line is on some of the other threads i checked(including this thread)

Did you hit the reply button on the bottom of the post and maybe use quick reply the second time around?

top or bottom, it doesn't matter. This thread, the attatchment line comes up, but the thrift store finds, it doesn't. It was the same when cwi posted about changing avatar pics. It wouldn't come up on that thread either.

Got the same issue's Crash.
I'm getting ready to launch this dag gone laptop into the stinkin canal. "Reply" is different each time as to wether or not the "browse" attachment is there. I am "quick replying" to this thread. I am aware of the difference between QR, and The reply button and what they do.
I joined stupid photobucket just so I could attach a dang photo to my last post. After about 30 minutes and 10 or so try's, it FINALLY worked. Is it Me?? Never had a problem doing this on ST. Just posted to Daniel N for his Gerber BMF thread on WS. NO problem with attaching pics.
So ya think I can get a photo imbedded for my avatar. Heck NO. It's resized to 100x90. So it meet's the size requirment's. Over it. I'm gonna go get me a 12 pack and have a cold one before I start beatin my dog or something.
Anything all you fine moderators can do to make the "photo" issue's any less aggravating.
Cause I'm here to tell ya when other's are posting pics/avatar photo's, and you are following all the steps suggested, with little to NO luck. Can get a lil steamy under the collar.
Anyhow, Thanks in advance for any suggestion's/improvments as to the ease of photo imbedding. Y'all have a good un. I'm goin fishin!!

Not sure what the problem is. I'll make sure the Boss is aware of this thread. If you are using Photobucket you don't have to attach anything. Just click on the IMG code for the picture in PB and paste it here.

No, Crash... that doesn't work for everyone. I tried doing that to upload my avatar pic and it was a complete waste of time.

Is there any way that you can post more than one attachment per post? i have been trying and can only get one at a time so far

So far I have not been able to recreate it.....if I am understanding the problem. Every time I hit the "reply" button I have the option to add an attachment, even in the threads mentioned. If somebody is hitting "reply" and not getting the attachment option, could you make a screen shot if possible to help in the troubleshooting? Thanks. |
