Ok. Well there is a thumbnail so I guess that is as good as it is gonna get for me. I know that others are able to post their photographs as full size and they can copy/paste that IMG thingy from Photobucket but not me.
Maybe it is like you say cwi my browser thing or my laptop has something that is different than everybody else's. This is a Dell 6400 Laptop that has Window Vista Home Basic as it operating system. Does that make a difference somehow?

Don't feel alone wtrwlf. I thought I had it figured out and instead of posting a pic, I only got a link to click on. Guess it's something we're both gonna be working on! BTW...I also have windows vista, never have liked it much.

I'm not going to complain about the Vista thing cause this is the laptop that Thywar so generously donated to me getting back on-line so beggars can't be choosers right? I do wonder though if there is a way to upgrade this to the newer Windows 7 or whatever it is that is the latest system? Is that something that you can just go buy? Boy! am I showing my ignorance about this or what?  ? |

Vista is not your browser, but rather your operating system. Your browser is the software you use to connect to the internet - for example Internet Explorer, Chrome, Fire Fox, etc.
I'm using Chrome and do not have any issues with compatibility. It's faster than Internet Explorer and it can be downloaded free of charge. You can switch between browsers if you like for various functions.

Chrome works with vista wtrfwlr, as does firefox. My preference is firefox for Oracle / unix / perlscript / javascript like this site. For those sites optimized for Microsoft tweeked sites, it's either chrome or I.E. with a preference towards chrome.

Thanks for the info. guys! Crash, sorry bout that I knew that wasn't my problem but I was grasping at straws I guess! The operating system should have nothing to do with it. Thank You too cwi555 I did not know that there were certain sites that were more friendly to browsers than others. I will keep on trying to figure this out but maybe without the bad attitude that I've had! I just get flustered when others can post photos like I want and I can't! I got my nose rubbed in it when Dameon was able to take my photos and post them for me! Not only the very same thing I was trying to put up but right there in the same thread! But low and behold Dameon was again able to post her photos as well!!! I guess that is pretty sad when someone else can come in and post MY photos and I can't figure it out on my own or with all the help from everyone here! Maybe I'm just burned out on trying to learn how all these new forums work?? |

I got lucky and figured out how to do pics a couple of ways...NOW will SOMEONE PLEASE tell me how the crap to take videos OFF my iPhone and put them on youtube so everyone in the world CANNOT watch them there, but be able to post them here?!! Or is that possible? If its NOT possible...I still need to know how to get videos off my iPhone...and then can I just load them to the site. I don't wanna share with just ANYBODY!!  |
