You may think that hole is for the ammo to go through.....not, this slingshot shoots over the top, not through the uprights. I joined this forum a few days ago just so i could learn all about slingshots.

Give me some time and I will make one. There is more to the slingshot then meets the eye. Much to learn before I can do that but I will in due time.

sling shots are cool things to have in your kit for sure...I got into making them a year or so ago and I used flat bands to make mine. I was able to find the bands locally at a message therapists office. They cut me about 8 feet of the band material and I mad the pocket from leather. The one mentioned above is cool as it's micro but as OT said...it shoots over the top and not through the center...this is a completely different shooting style and you can expect a few busted knuckles in the learning process!

Here's a slingshot that I made from this PDF. I did not cut the center hole but left the handle/grip solid and I made it from Birch veneer ply wood that I currently keep in my EDC. On this PDF is a TTF and a OTT version...I chose the TTF (Through The Forks) version over the OTT (Over The Top). It works well and I pop pebbles off of turtle shells in the spring to keep in practice!

I am still trying to get the hang of using my slingshot. Just when I think I have it under a symblance of control, I go and shoot a ball berring off in reverse. Those dang things hurt!!!
