I don't have very good video capabilities but here's my latest one. A fire using a high carbon mora and a rock I picked up off the ground. All of the sparks I were getting were falling down, so I ended up striking the knife with the rock into the tin of charred cloth.

I seen this on utube and you did a great job. you hung in there till you got a fire , way to go bud

Thanks guys. The problem I was having was that the rock was a bad speciman. The rock was very grainy and kept breaking apart. A good quartz rock will throw sparks just as well as flint imho.
