anyone now the reason behind the manx cat name? Just went over this in my verterbrate anatomy class. I was wrong. I am not sure where the name manx cat came from. The genes in some of the vertebrates that are tailless is named the MANx gene after the manx cat. Humble stepping down. Thanks for playing though.  |
