Caught this pike and it was sick for sure. The head was big but the body was skinny very skinny. Poor thing I felt sorry for it, to bad at one time it was a monster. Do you all think I should have put it out of it's misery? Next time i think i will. I believe it swallowed a plug or a hook, that's one part of fishing I don't like. I do what I can to minimize the damage to the fish like never using plugs because of the treble hooks, that includes inline spinners. Spinners baits and buzz baits that I use have a single hook, less damage then those d@m treble hooks......I hate them.

Something I want to add. Caught both these on a worm harness with two #4 hooks. I tie them my self. Very easy to remove and doesn't hurt the fish.

Love the pics plus them some healthy looking pike. Beautiful looking water your fishing, same here i release most if not all game fish. I do however keep pan fish occasionally. Good for you on making your own worm harnesses and catching fish on em, that's a great feeling.
