We headed out of the house this evening to send a few .22 rounds down range and seen a squirrel. Our evening target practice became an impromptu hunting trip. We eventually seen the squirrel as he bounded away. This lit a small spark deep with in me...I am taking Trace squirrel hunting tomorrow morning at my parents house. I'll take photos and post them tomorrow afternoon. If things go well...we'll also have photos of a pot of squirrel and dumplin's!!!!

Well....we went I can say that much. LOL....we only had one chance at a single squirrel and he got down the tree and took off through the brush. We rode around on the dirt roads a while and spotted a few deer, and some hog tracks. We checked on a tripod stand and the persimmon tree is loaded! I'll be going back Oct. 19th. I'm off that Friday and it's the last day of the muzzle loader season. Firearm season starts on the 20th but I'll be out of town.

You did one better then i, I seen nothing but shot a chipmunk with my slingshot and it felt so good. First time I was able to shut up the little critter. If your a hunter then you know what I mean ;D
