Decided to build one so I could make biscuits and stuff while camping. So I did a search and came up with a few I liked and built one using mostly the ideas from here. www.kayak2go.com/reflectoroven.PDFI had some 12 inch wide flashing left over from a job so I used it along with .032 SS safety wire. For tools I used a simple hand held bender using the 1/2 inch side. Also used varies tin snips along with a drill and pop rivet tool. I bent all the edges over for added strength and to protect my self form any sharp edges. This one is kind of big and I plan on using it for an upcoming BWCA canoe trip. I'm going to make another one small for packing. Here are the pics hope this helps some one out. The tools Here's tow pieces for the Top and bottom. One I already the ends bent.

Fantastic project! I'd love to see you make a solar oven now. No point in heating up the kitchen in summer if you can cook in the back yard, huh?
P.S. Hey Dennis, if you want to make and sell these ovens to the Bunker members, feel free to do so. I would be interested in a solar oven if you ever came up with one.

Nice! I would love to come up with something like that for the woodstove. I saw on someplace on a forum but can't remember where. Been a while.

Thanks for all the kind words. I'll post up the back pack model when I come up with a better idea for one. Still thinking on it. Nice! I would love to come up with something like that for the woodstove. I saw on someplace on a forum but can't remember where. Been a while. Wow what a great idea. I think this one would work just fine come next winter I'll give it a go.

The one I saw was sheet metal but more square like a box. It just slid on the lip of the wood stove with the opening obviously facing the door of the stove. It had a little access door so you could check your food without taking the whole thing off.
