One of my buddies on utube made this fish snare that I would like to share. With just a couple modifications I think they would work better then yo yo's would and a lot smaller. Let me know what you think  |

This definitely looks interesting. What is the source for the spring? A ballpoint pen? It seems a little more tightly coiled than that kind of spring but it's hard for me to tell.
If it works as well as a yoyo, that would be neat! I never heard of a fishing yoyo until Cowgirlup sent me one as part of the prize for winning her contest . ;D

Adding a small notch to the back of the hook for setting would work better I think. I will be stopping at Lowe's today to check out the springs, ill get back to you later. |
