Watched the debate last night and caught the segment where OB was asked about getting AK47's off the street. His answer basically was that he wants to institute the Clinton Ban only with a steroid injection. Romney's answer did not suit me much either but, at least it was a little better. Here is what I think.... If O is elected again, he will promote gun control that will crush the 2A. I doubt he could get any such measures thru the House or Senate and would use the SCOTUS to do it thru case law and the ACLU. I think all he really did last night was add 20% to the cost of any mags or guns and ammo I want to buy in the next few months. But, his stance is completely antithetical to the 2A and knows no bounds. I doubt he has ever fired a weapon in his whole life and there he sits as CIC . Anyway..... What do you all think?

I feel the same as you neither Obama or Romney gave a good answer but Romney seemed to be less of a gun control freak. Lets face it what they say and what they do can be way different once they are elected. Lets not forget that.

I think Obama will try and use the UN 'treaties' and 'agreements' to circumvent the constitution or else he'll do just like he's been doing.. not give a crap and just bypass it (and congress... the dumba$$es) and do what he wants.. like he told Medevded (well you know that Russian POS) ''tell Vladimir to wait until after the election. It's my last election and I'll be more flexible after that''.

At least Romney isn't looking to pass through more "gun laws." That's not the greatest answer, but it sure is a start. If he gets rid of the "executive privilege" that Obama put on F&F, and does a few other things (such as a major reform on NFA '34): that would be excellent. Enjoy the poster. After hearing "O" say it last night I almost rolled on the floor laughing. Attachments:

both of their answers sucked and now I want a AK (for the first time ever!!) They are both in favor of stricter gun controls. Perhaps not so much, particularly on the Romney/Ryan side. 1) Ryan is an avid hunter. That's not exactly a political secret. 2) The R/R team fully supports passing the National Reciprocity Carry bill. 3) The R/R team does not support the idea of bringing back the AWB on the national level. 4) Last I checked the R/R team doesn't support a tax on ammo, nor support microstamping. 5) Both Romney and Ryan called out on Obama for Fast&Furious, and I'd be willing to bet that the R/R team would get rid of the "executive privilege" Obama placed on documentation about F&F. 6) The R/R team has no interest in passing any more gun control legislation. They've been pretty clear on that for some time now.
