Hey all, I am curious about the camera gear that's being used. Personally I use a Kodak ZX5 Playsport, 2 of them actually. Waterproof to 10 feet, dustproof and drop damage resistant from 4.5 feet. full 1080HD with mono audio and 5mp still shots with a macro option. They list MSRP at $180 or so but I got both of mine on eBay from a reseller of remanufactured units, first one was $84 and the second I got for $64. I put a 16Gig SD memory card in and it allows for up to 11,000 pictures or almost 4 hours of video at 1080HD. The battery is built in and lasts a little over 3 hours, the cool thing is it has a micro USB slot for the charger which is the same as my cell phone making it easy to charge in a vehicle lighter socket or from a laptop etc. I used a Pelican case for it and picked up a couple accessories to round out the package. I haven't yet done a 2 camera video but I am thinking if I do a product review of some sort I might try a close up camera and one wide shot then mesh that together with the on board video editing software. What prompted me to start this thread is that I watch quite a number of videos on the youtube and its painful for me to watch a great content video when its in 240 resolution when a good camera is pretty darn affordable.
