This is all for now and until it stops raining I won't be going back. They are predicting that Ohio will be effected by Hurricane Sandy. Mostly rain and high winds. As soon as this passes i will be back at it.

Vids not showing up OT watched it on your youtube channel. Looks good so far. Are you going to block off the back of your fireplace? I was thinking it might throw a little more heat back at your lean to.  I hope you camp doesn't get washed away by the Hurricane!  |

Yes i will block off the back but the smoke needs to go somewhere.I may use a pipe from home for the smoke stack. They are calling for lots of rain in my area and I am by the river. Guess ill just have to wait and see what happens . |

A good job so far. Good utilization of available resources as well. Something not many practice. Thanks cwi I'm going to change the fire place set up. I'm going to have the length of the barrow facing the shelter. Then open it up like a clam shell so it will also serve as a heat reflector. |

That would work ill keep my eyes open and see what treasure the river has provided. |
