Share your sources for your food storage preps. If you buy your mylar bags or O2 absorbers from a particular vendor - and are happy with them - share! If you buy bulk grains - share. Equipment to process - share.
Please only share stores (on-line or brick and mortar) that you have: 1) Found the pricing to be reasonable 2) Were happy with the quality of the products 3) Were happy with the service
Please only share from your personal experiences, not what you've heard.

Pleasant Hill Grain.com I've ordered wheat, corn and oats from them. They deliver in a very timely manner and I think their prices are in line with minimal shipping costs. They notify you if an order is backordered, when you can expect it to be available but I usually receive my orders within two days of order (I'm in OK and they're in NE). I like 'em.

From personal experience?
beprepared.com costco.com readymaderesources.com thereadystore.com
I've picked up a few odds and ends like everyone else has (I'm sure) at local dollar stores, or Walmart. For larger bulk orders I go with the big names listed above. I have yet to pack and seal my own stuff, which I might look into as it seems a bit cheaper. I try to buy food with a shelf life of 25+ years, be it in bags, buckets or #10 cans. There are a few exceptions however (TVP).
All of the above places are quite busy these days, but I've always gotten my orders quickly (when they had them in stock) with no complaints.

Mylarbagsdirect.com for O2 absorbers and bags. This list below can be readily picked up at your local grocer or Wally World/Sams/Costco if you don't want to mail order or can't afford the big money orders. www.grandpappy.info/hfood1yr.htmI like Emergency Essentials, Honeyville grains for bulk Grains,Rice, beans. Check your local sources. Even in our rural area we have businesses that will special order most of the bulk Items. Taste of Amish Store, downtown and Bread Beckers about an hour down the road from here. Sometimes you HAVE to ASK.

I just purchased my first mylar bags that come with equal amount of O2 absorbers. I got 20 for 12.88 (that includes shipping) from amazon. Most other items, I pick up at the DT or Wally World. Wally World is beginning to undercut DT's pricing so watch what you're buying. I've been seeing more and more items at Wallyworld for less than at DT but, Wallyworld's GV brand is going up at the same time and many name brand items are less. Somebody please help me with that one!

Another Costco online bulk food fan. Some stuff comes in buckets but we bought a 10 pack of 5 gal buckets with the screw tops from Costco as well.
We tend to buy staples that are dry because they are easier for use to work into our diet/cooking style. Still working on integrating the freeze dryed stuff.

Place an order last week with theepicenter.com. They had a sale on MH and had free shipping on cases. We ordered 4 cases and got them yesterday. They all seem in order and in good shape and received them pretty fast.
