Added more to the roof and just enjoyed the day. Had a fire and cooked some beans.

Yes I am but I need to find or bring an old pot to camp for that use. If it can be extracted without impurity's would make a great glue plus closing wounds. Can't forget a very good fire starter.....Thanks for posting

Another great adventure I'm enjoying tremendously.

I thought it was very creative to punch a hole in your firewall to thread your grill handle through. BTW, I'm still looking for one of those grills with the retractable handle. Do you remember where you got yours?

As for the bundles used to enclose the shelter, how many places are you tieing one bundle to hold it together or does it really matter?

You mentioned drinking a tea with a licorice flavor but I couldn't quite get the name of it. I like licorice too, black of course and would like to try the tea as it sounds good. Do you drink it just because you like it or does it have other benefits?

I found the grill laying on the ground one day. I will keep my eyes opened and if I see one in the store ill let you know The bundles are secured at one point only but i will be laying branches on top to hold them down if need be. One reason I did it this way, if snow covers the roof the heat from the fire place might melt the snow and drip on me. This way I can move and shake the snow from the roof.
