Here is a short not so good phone video from one of the spots I hunt with my Summit climbing treestand. It just lets you see the wonderful panorama of the mixed hardwood Oak flat that I hunt. I'm in a nice Pine tree and could hunt much higher if I wanted to and would be if I were bowhunting but at this level I can see through the woods a greater distance which is what I want for a gun hunt. The Doe I took from this very tree never had an idea I was even in the woods and she was about 15-18 steps from my tree. Don't wonder about the audio, there is no sound. www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAGjkoEPryo&feature=youtube_gdata

Like it and really like the fact that you have on a safety harness.

Like it and really like the fact that you have on a safety harness. Thank you for noticing Sir! I wish everyone did. My harness is on me and attached to the tree before my feet ever leave the ground! EVERYTIME!!! The leading cause of hunting deaths is falls from tree stands. What many don't understand is that almost all occur while climbing up or down and very few while actually sitting there. I feel that if you don't have a harness, get one and if you won't wear the one you have, hunt on the ground! It's just too easy with the new harnesses not to guarantee your safety to live and hunt another day not to mention loved ones and family. Another thing is to die by hanging upside down or laying on the forest floor has to be a horrible way to perish. When I bow hunt I hunt really really high up and wouldn't dream of not being secured but it only takes one fall from just a few feet up to end it all. Ok....enough of my rant on safety harnesses! Sorry I get wound up over this but it goes hand in hand with gun safety in my book.

Yes it does. The cool thing about these woods I'm hunting is that I have only seen one other human there in the 15 or so years I've been going up there! I hope and pray it stays that way too!

Oh yeah! Our park is positively overrun with people all summer long, except when it pours rain. Only in the absolute dead of winter, preferably when it's actively snowing, will people be mostly absent. Just trying to take wildlife pictures can be a challenge with everyone stomping through, hollering their conversations with each other, and kids screaming for no reason.

beautifull BJ! The woods I hunt are much different. Thick forest is what I have. I have never attempted a shot over 60 yards. It would be impossible to find a shooting lane that long I like the look of that, just seeing you can see that far in every direction is great. I have to be nearly on top of a deer to get a shot
