Actually I have 2 reviews.
1. as mentioned in subject line... the CRKT Cruiser Jimmy FORCED me to buy is great @ FIELD DRESSING deer. I've used it to field dress my 4 point and 2 other deer.
Knife was easy to hold and handle even when coated with blood. Grip was excellent and the serrations ate right through the rib cage as I eviserated the chest cavity. Stayed sharp all the way thru the skinning and quartering process too. I did have to touch up the blade after the 2nd deer but only took a few strokes on the diamond stone.
The other knife I tested was the BK 13 or "remora". Great little knife. while Im sure it could handle a deer if nessasary, where this knife did well was small game. I used it on several squirrels and 1 or 2 rabbits. STILL razor sharp. handles good but can get a litle slippery . unforunatley if you put a para cord wrap on it , be prepared to change it ALOT if you skin with it. Blood and internal goo tends to nasty -up the paracord and after a day or to warm temps....wellll...lets just say it gets a little ripe
I left it bare after that. Might get some skateboard tape and try it.
...and make sure its clean when you re-sheath it
