Unless I am mistaken, there are four holes in that receiver for pins. That's one to many. I suspect the ATF will be paying that guy a visit once they are aware of the pics.

There is more to it than the sear pin hole. Something has to trip the Asear in the process, but I'll not be mentioning what that is.
I almost learned the hard way on this. Went to a gun show and was considering a preban AK but on inspection, I saw something I didn't recognize. Namely the aforementioned pin and sear along with a couple of other highlights. His price was good, but I turned him down as at the time, I was confident of what a semi configuration should look like and that wasn't it, but not confident enough to call BS on him immediately. Not five minutes later him and another guy were being escorted out of the show in cuffs. It ain't worth 10 years serenading bubba.

I know what you are talking about. I just think that the idea and directions are something worth having. I know exactly what my AKs look like inside and out...no reason to add the "extras". I agree...not worth the time!

Still, ole boy made a gun out of a shovel! A shovel for crying out loud. Maybe Im just easily impressed . The sear issue aside, just making a reciever takes some paperwork does it not? That alone may get him a visit. In this day, I do NOT want to be a test subject for the feds.
