Seems to me that we discussed force multipliers around here...........
I can't even imagine the cost, but in the right hands, in many circumstances that system would be devastating to an attacker before they could even get close. Think about a handful of folks defending a position with these - at a half to three quarters of a mile out.

Imagine the military implications...snipers would hit 1st time every time. An army of snipers would actually be viable. Imagine hundreds of Vassili Zaitsev's.
Sniper Vs armored vehicles or tanks - No problem....he'll hit the view port and kill the gunner. He'll hit the cameras and blind the tank crew. He'll send a round down the tank barrel and jam the round in the cannon chamber or worse.

I could have used something like that this morning in 9mm size so I wouldn't look like such a girl at the range.

I want one.
Since that's not going to happen, I'll settle for the fact that I finally have my 2nd prescription for glasses. I am really hoping that the reason I had such trouble with pistol accuracy was the fact that I had a lot of trouble seeing things properly. Therefore, my Marine son, whenever you read this, you're taking Mom to the range this weekend... Mom's treat. ;D
