Quick question... How do you read and post on the forum. I find myself sitting in front of a computer more and using ipads/iphones more. Of course i could use a browser and access the forums, but I wonder how others do it.
I usually log on and click on new topics, scan the list of topics for something that interests me, read and maybe post. But I'm not getting all of them. Is that how everyone interacts witht he forum?

I sign on, click on new topics, read (or at least open) ALL the new topics so when I come back the next time I will see only the next set of new topics.

I do the same as thyway, but I also check to see if there are any new comments in recent topics I have participated in and if any I read them. Jim

I click on and read each and every post all over again, then copy and paste the new ones into a document which I print off and file by category in a notebook according to topic, OP, number of replies and resolution, if any. I print off all photos and file them alphabetically according to topic and identifiable personnel. I read the profiles of all noobs, look them up by IP and initiate an investigation by an outside source to check them out, including photos, BMIs, credentials and credit score. I notify Big Mike and Vinnie if any member attitude adjustment action is needed, and purchase the airline tickets, arrange for the rental car, set up accomodations, etc. We call that the "Triple A" and it's way more effective than just simply warning or banning someone. Then, when I finish that, I sleep for two hours, have a meal, and start over again. Oh yeah, and sometimes I post.

I do the same as AD. Log on, click new posts and see what's new. If I've been away for a day or so I will scroll down to the last time I was on the forum. Sometimes I skim the threads by putting the cursor on the topic and reading the little paragraph that pops up.

I hit New Topics, then open every single one (that has a new post in it) in a new tab. I read all of them, not all with the same level of interest or understanding, but I try to keep abreast of all of them. It's a challenge if I have to be off the computer for more than a day. Using my phone to keep up (after my old computer died and before I acquired this one) meant I limited myself to threads of interest, and then I only read what I could scan. I do not use a touch-screen phone. Navigating was a royal pain because the zoom levels literally changed every time I went to a new screen and the changes weren't consistent. CCM, you forgot to mention that facial recognition software that you use when perusing the videos, matching the faces to the IP addresses, not to mention the remote access to the webcam that keeps you in the know about every aspect of the Bunker. ;D ;D ;D [Meow, meow... kitty's out of the bag... and the angel's flying off to a distant corner of the camp while the Bunker shudders with thunder]

CREEPY" Oh, I'll move along now.....

Yep, I was "in" until I read the part about the notebook... then things got more interesting, so it became necessary to free the kitty.

"How do you read and post on the forum."
Well, most of the time I'm fully dressed and somewhat sober but that is not a hard and fast rule with me.
As far as the 'reading' part I almost always do that in English since it is the only language I know.
The posting part? I guess early and often would apply? Oh...and always with all I am able to muster! Gotta have the muster part.

So nobody has bought the ipad proboards app? I got it free on my iphone...never have used it. I usually use Safari if I am on my cell. Can't afford an ipad.
