Time to get my ducks in a row! I have a three day deer hunt right after x-mas and that will probably be it for my on the deer this year 
Now I gotta get after some ducks. And to do that I gotta run down what's left of my gear. I did have around 125 dekes and bags but this is what I have left after they took all my stuff. Jerk strings and camo netting is gone too, that's Ok though, I've worked ducks with less.
I was suppose to go tomorrow with a fella down to my favorite swamp but between work and the weather coming tonight that plan is out. I may make a river hunt Friday just to check out gear. That means check out how badly my waders leak!
I also need to get the lights going and a couple more things on the boat. I'd really like to have as much ready as I can, I have a guy that's a first timer I'm taking down to the Bayou on Sunday and I sure would like to show him a good hunt! I'm hoping this storm isn't near as bad as what they are saying. If we get the lightning they are talking about it will sure run the birds outta here for a few days.
Oh! Almost forgot, I got a new caller given to me Monday night and can't wait to pull down some mallards with that one! It does sound GOOD!
