An Off-Grid Washing Machine

I thought this was a clever adaptation of the way my Grandma used to do laundry, using some common, modern materials and "prepper" supplies.

Good idea...in and of itself. However, why not use a washboard and a bucket? Is this being over thought?

The linked version works better. That linked version is an adaptation of a version that was common in Appalachia circa 1930's/WWII which utilized garbage cans.
