the top one is a Stevens MDL 320, Picked up 3 of them late Nov at 200 a piece at China Mart. I've ran 300 rounds through the test gun without a problem. many of the internals look suspiciously like a Winchester 1300 defender speed pump. (the two below). In fact, dimensionally, the rotating bolt in it could probably be put into a 1300 with some minor mods. For 200, there is not a lot to complain about. The two below are original 90's era 1300 defender speed pumps made in the USA, of which I have a few. One has a pachmayr pistol grip and forend. The other has a Choate top folding stock/pistol grip combo. A couple of others are still in the box yet to be shot. All but one was purchased prior to the outsourcing to turkey debacle in the 2K's. The one that wasn't was from the 90's era, from gunbroker. Any one of them would service for home defense/SHTF.

Not bad for 200 bucks for sure. I have never had much experience with the 1300 platform, I guess you like them, so they must work ok. I grew up on Remington and Mossberg and just never wondered to far from there, with the exception of some old Winchester M 97 and 12's.
Wally's also had a foreign made copy of the Rem 870. It has interchangeable parts with Rem. Cost was $187.00 Cousin bought one to try and we shot it a lot with bird and buckshot and no malfunctions yet.
Shot guns are the sleeper of the gun world right now, I have been hitting all the pawn shops and getting what I can. Common ammo is still on the shelves, at least for now.

An odd thing but I will add this also: rumor has it and several posts confirm that the H&R pardner series uses many 870 parts. If that could be confirmed could be handy in a pinch. The pardners are still less than 200 bucks and are getting stellar reviews for the price

That is the one I was talking about, it is a copy of the 870, the parts actually interchange.
