I believe we all know by now that it's not about keeping us safe. It's about taking guns away from people that will defend there self no matter who walks in and starts trouble, including the government. This whole mess has only backfired on them and now many more guns in the hands of who knows who.

In the evidence room of the local shreriff dept back in MO, it is packed with bats, hammers, pipes, nun-chucks, golf clubs, and alot of axe handles. The criminal hoosiers where I come from love them a good taped up axe handle all "custom" decorated with a soldering iron - usually with thier name burned in it btw . In the city, phillips head screwdrivers were the common tool of choice for a shanking.

Walk into any Hospital E.R. in the US and ask them what weapon sends them the most patients. Answer is...Louisville Slugger. My mom was an ER nurse for 20 years. I asked here that very question. Her answer was alcohol. When I pressed the issue she said blunt weapons and knives.
