Just for fun, if you were forced to sell one of your guns right now, which one would you dump and why? I'll start.
I have a Swedish Mauser over my fire place. It works. I even have a few boxes of ammo for it. I would dump it because I really don't need it in my home other than being decorative. I have other guns that do what it does, but better.

Maybe if we got a good list here, we could actually trade or sell our guns here on this board. (Legally through an FFL of course).

And that doesn't require a FFL dealer.. and why would you want to anyway?

I picked up a 30.06, but do not have room in my gun cabinet and do not want to get a bigger one. Therefore, in order to put it in the cabinet I would let my SKS (Soviet model) leave the premises. Of course it is just for fun and if I were forced to sell one ;D Jim

I have an SKS that needs a stock. Even with a new stock I would let it go easy.

wow how easy? does it have the original box mag still with it?
I have a couple that may have to go just because logistics would prevent them from being taken on a walking bugout. I am making a supply run soon but will post my thoughts on what would go and why when I get home
good post again WILL and I am sure the mods will let you know if there are any legalities that need to be addressed other than FFL requirements.

No, CCM had a temporary moment of forgetfulness, as did I, but one the initial rules to the board was no open arms trading. What you send someone in a PM or email is your own business.

To go back to Will's initial Q: theoretically if I had to sell something right now it would be anything I own that's an oddball and hard to find caliber (even before the current run of panic buying) That means my S&W 500 would go, as would the Beowulf (yes this is the same Beowulf that I spent a lot of money on building and enhancing).
For the record I wouldn't sell either unless I had a really good reason to and no good alternative.

I have 2 guns other than the sks that are not used much at all but I cant part with them. One is an 1800's Remington Model 4 rolling block 32 rimfire. Its been in my family since new. The other is my .308 tack driver. The .308 hasn't been used in years and weights a ton. Not a very practical rifle at all, but I do love it.

Mine would be the 9mm carbine. Why? because it is the only thing I have in that caliber. While the same is true with a couple others, they are more useful overall or are heirlooms.

I wish I had some of the guns I purchased years ago, guns the judge ordered returned to me in the divorce that I never saw again...47 of them to be exact. Now, I don't have enough to shake a stick at.
If I HAD to sell any, I would make it my Chinese Norinco MAK90 7.62x39. It's my deer hunting rifle. I am giving serious consideration to investing in a good 30-06 or a 308 to replace it. I had a nice 308, but like the others, it is long gone thanks to the ex.
