Has anyone had any experience with them good or bad? Just something quiet for the day pack.

I had a 1377 and loved it! I will likely get another this spring. As to quiet, like most pump up guns if you want them quiet you lose range and power. My son's M4 Crosman is louder than my Henry with either CB shorts or the new CCI quiet. the main thing is the amount of ammo you can carry for them. As long as you keep them down around 1000fps or so there will be no crack other than the air release. For things 25yds or less 5-6 pumps work just fine with head shots, birds actually 4-5 just be sure you know your aiming points at each desired power level
