Will a computer pro please tell me how I can save posts, say to "my documents"?
What I want to do is save recipes off this forum, alphabetize them, and make me up a handy little Survival Bunker recipe book.
Thanks
Jim

Well, I'm not a big computer expert so I just copy things like that to a page in My Documents.
It doesn't keep the whole post. Just the part I highlight to be copied.

Then go to your 'documents' and click on 'make new folder' a folder will appear, then you can name it, open it and then 'paste the recipe there. You could name the new folder say..Recipes, or what ever and then copy/paste into that folder anytime you like. I hope that helps. If not lemme know, Bj.

you can also use a product called cutepdf writer, it will convert the whole page to a pdf (through the print option) but this will convert everything on the page to a pdf and you may not want all the information (i use it to download information to a useable format)

Thank you all very much. I have been copying away and have quite a few already in my documents now and will keep on going. garret, I will check out cutepdf writer. I think I can use it like a printer, but not printing or something like that. A friend told me about it. Jim
