That was a very interesting article. It clearly spells out the responsibilities of government and what they are not legally entitled to do. That gets a little murky sometimes.

They will come. All governments eventually do.
I am willing to bet the people who support this type of behavior do not realize "gun control" was the spark that started the American Revolution in 1775. King George had prohibited the importation of powder and was going around to existing powder houses to confiscate what powder the colonists did have. His henchmen were one their way to do just that in Concord....
One step further back, a bankrupt country after the War of 1812 is what led to the policies that caused tension with the colonist.

The Second Amendment does not say "a right to bear only the arms Congress decides we can bear"! It say the right to BEAR ARMS. Having said that, I am afraid, with the Supreme Court becoming more liberal, it is only a matter of time before the hard left become the majority. Lord only knows how they have interpreted some of the Constitutional amendments and the Constitution wording itself, they can always do the same with the Second Amendment. That blogger is a patriot. Too bad we have politicians that fail us every day in supporting the Constitution, and get re-elected time after time! Jim

It will be ammo first. Without it we have nothing more than expensive clubs I guess that's my question. How is restricting what guns I can own and the amunition for them any different from showing up at my door and taking the guns I do already own?

I have said it many times here and on ST.
Be prepared to grow a set...at some point a personal decision has to be made to the outlawness of our government and how it affects one.
The wagons will need to be circled. Or we can just give up.
A few quotes....take some time to read them....
The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. Thomas Jefferson
When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. When the government fears the people, there is liberty. Thomas Jefferson
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them. Thomas Jefferson
The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference - they deserve a place of honor with all that's good George Washinton
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. Ben Franklin
This country, with its institutions, belongs to the people who inhabit it. Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing government, they can exercise their constitutional right of amending it, or exercise their revolutionary right to overthrow it. Abraham Lincoln
We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution. Abraham Lincoln
Don't interfere with anything in the Constitution. That must be maintained, for it is the only safeguard of our liberties. Abraham Lincoln
The cost of freedom is always high, but Americans have always paid it. And one path we shall never choose, and that is the path of surrender, or submission. John F. Kennedy
