I'm just glad they had the sense to lie still while he took the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th shots.

Looked like the last one to run off was a casualty, he went down twice. I've seen that before.

My guess is he has some sort of injury to his right front leg from the struggle. Most likely not life threatening, deer are unbelievably resilient. Also if you listen closely, at the very end of the video you can hear one guy say "Lets keep on eye on that second on and see what he does"
As a side story on what they can recover from- I skinned one out a few years back that had had a front leg that had been shot completely in two the previous season. The lower front leg had completely healed, the bone knitted itself together, and though it had a big narly looking bulge on it and the Doe walked with a slight limp she was totally healthy. Another odd thing....the hunter that took her was the one who most likely wounded her the year before. He shot and wounded a Doe from the same stand only to have the bullet deflected by an unseen limb and hit her in that same leg!

The deer that fell after running off was just plain tired , the neck muscle were worn out. It was having trouble holding it's head up. That has to be a horrible way to die, two lucky deer if you ask me.
