The one with the paracord is a Coleman Ultrahigh (140 lu), The other is a Coast pX45 (212 lu). Both take 3 AAA batteries. I use these for work and stay either on me or in by work bag. Attachments:

Geauxfish I can't tell you how many times I use a flashlight app on my iPhone. If I'm in a restaurant and the lights are low or the print small.. whip that baby out and I can read it all. I've been in a building and had to walk through a dark place.. out it comes.. it's so handy and there are many really good flashlight apps. Some you can change the color of the light, some will strobe, some you can change the intensity.. very handy. Good morse code apps too.

I starting carrying the 5.11 A1 (ATAC) a few months ago. It has become my best friend, right up there with my Leatherman. The "soft switch" feature is nice as you can "tap" through low lumen, very high lumen, and strobe. It is tough as nails.
